Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The model reproduces the hip bone, sacrum and coccyx, together with the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae and their intervertebral discs, the sacral promontory, the pubic symphysis, and the ischial spine and tuberosity, made from a PU material that closely mimics the texture of real bone.
By accurately reproducing the diameters of the pelvic inlet, mid-pelvis and outlet planes, it serves as an anatomical and measurement reference, and allows comparison of normal female pelvis morphology with the male pelvis.
