Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The model reproduces the upper body of an adult male in the supine position, with realistic facial proportions, an openable mouth with teeth, tongue, epiglottis and vocal cords, made from eco-friendly materials.

It supports practice of mask pre-oxygenation, with simulated chest rise, and electronically detects excessive pressure on the teeth, alerting the user. It also assesses intubation depth, flagging errors such as oesophageal intubation or unilateral chest rise from the tube being inserted too deep.

It is aimed at medical students, clinical trainees and emergency personnel.
