Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

PELVIC Mentor solves the problem of teaching an examination the trainee cannot see while performing it. The anatomy is physical and palpable; on screen, a virtual model shows in real time which structure the hand is touching.

It serves as a replacement for, or a step before, the standardised patient, which is expensive and limited: here you can practise on pathologies a standardised patient will never present, and repeat as often as needed.

It includes curriculum videos for self-directed learning and competency assessment on performance metrics, and in several countries it counts towards the simulation clinical hours within nursing programmes.
