Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The Resusci Junior manikin offers realistic, high-quality paediatric CPR training.
– The realistic body and anatomical landmarks provide the essential elements for learning to handle the child and to perform quality paediatric CPR
– The realistic size and weight of a 5-year-old child reproduce the difficulties of a real rescue
– Bilateral carotid pulse simulation for realistic pulse checking
– The disposable non-rebreathing airways can be used by several students during the class and are changed quickly and easily after each session
– The natural airway obstruction allows students to learn the airway opening technique, so that in a real situation they know how to deliver air to the patient effectively
– The realistic resistance to chest compressions allows students to experience the pressure needed to perform correct compressions in a real situation
– The optional water rescue kit gives the opportunity to practise realistic water rescue techniques appropriate to the age group the manikin represents
– Includes carry case, training mat, 4 face skins, 3 airways, 18 disinfectant wipes and instruction manual.
The new version of this paediatric CPR model, with feedback through Skillguide or through the free mobile app, incorporates new and improved functions:
– Improved compression mechanism: stable and with a human feel
– Compliant with the 2015 guidelines: compression depth of 50 to 60 mm
– Realistic bag-mask and mouth-to-mouth ventilation: chest rise, neck tilt and optional sound feedback
– New electronics: Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) and sensors
– Runs on batteries and also on mains power
– Training mat that also serves as a carry bag
