What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This life-size model is sectioned in the median sagittal plane and shows the female pelvis in 3 parts. In addition to the muscles and the vessels of the abdomen, it represents above all the urogenital organs. Half of the uterus, the vagina and the bladder can be removed, as can half of the intestine with the rectum.
