What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
A novel approach that adds a dynamic component to the study of the anatomy of the hand. Magnets placed at strategic points guide the assembly while the details of each bone and its joints are studied. In this magnetic hand all the bones separate completely, except for the middle and distal phalanges.
