Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This block from the SonoEZ series reproduces a 6 mm diameter blood vessel that bifurcates into two 3 mm branches, allowing practice of ultrasound-guided vascular access at a bifurcation point, a more demanding situation than puncturing a single vessel.
It is made from a synthetic material with very realistic ultrasound behaviour, in which the channels left by the needle close almost completely, and comes in a plastic container measuring around 12 x 8 x 5 cm.
