Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This one-piece model, at 2/3 life size, illustrates several pathologies of the pulmonary system caused by microbial infections: lung abscess, pneumonia and tuberculosis.

The surface of the model is blackened to show the visible effect of smoking, and a cancerous tumour is also shown in detail. All the pathologies are represented separately, with a realistic depiction of their morphology.

The model is mounted on a base with a stand.
