Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The simulator sits on a stand-mounted base and accepts four interchangeable stomas, made from a soft, flexible material with a realistic-looking skin, allowing several clinical scenarios to be covered without changing equipment.

The stomas reproduce different states: healthy, double-barrel, prolapsed and necrotic, plus a permanent retracted stoma, covering the main findings a professional may encounter in real ostomy care.

It allows practice of pouch application and emptying, stoma cleaning and irrigation, using simulated stool that reproduces a realistic consistency.
