Projects and AV systems
A simulation centre is not bought: it is designed
We start from the learning objectives and the training programme. The equipment and the audio-video systems come afterwards, and they come properly sized.
The methodology
Five phases, each one with something handed over. The first does not talk about products.
- 01
Needs assessment
What is taught today, to how many students, with which learning objectives and which assessment.
You receiveRequirements document
- 02
Design and sizing
Room layout, flows, capacity, control and observation.
You receiveDrawings and technical report
- 03
Equipment and AV systems
Simulators by modality, video capture, debriefing and session management, integrated from the outset.
You receiveEquipment list and budget
- 04
Commissioning and training
Installation, setup and training of the teaching staff in how to run the centre.
You receiveAn operational centre and a trained team
- 05
Support and evolution
Maintenance, consumables, extensions and updates as the training programme grows.
You receiveSupport contract
Audio-video management system
It records, synchronises and organises everything that happens in each room: video, audio, monitor and instructor annotations. Debriefing stops depending on memory.
- Multi-room and multi-camera
- Live event tagging
- Session library and assessment
Designed with the room, not afterwards
The position of cameras, microphones and control rooms is decided on the drawing. Adding capture to a centre that is already built costs twice as much and works half as well.
- Sizing at the design stage
- Building work and conduits planned for
- Training for the teaching staff
References
Centres already up and running. None of them started from the shopping list.
Request a study
This is not a contact form: it is the start of the needs assessment. Tell us what is taught today, to how many students, with which learning objectives and on what timeframe, and we will prepare a first conversation worth having.
