Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Adele represents a European woman in her early 80s. The overlay is made of soft, durable silicone, hand-painted by special effects artists, with the wig already attached and the eyebrows punched into the silicone. It fits the CAE HPS manikin best and may also fit other manikins with a similar head size.

It fastens with a Velcro strap at the back, so there is no need to stretch it over the manikin’s head and it feels less claustrophobic for the wearer. It can also be worn by a standardised patient, depending on face shape: moving the same face from the actor to the manikin keeps the character continuous throughout the scenario.

Every face is hand-painted to match the character, so no two are identical and the paintwork may vary slightly. The wig is matched as closely as possible to the model, although colour, length or style may vary depending on availability. Accessories shown in the photos are not included.
