Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

It combines the translucent single-layer pad — designed to give a three-dimensional view of the depth and uniformity of each stitch — with a complete instrument set and three packs of non-sterile practice suture, in 3-0 or 4-0 gauge to choose. It is the first step of the learning process, before moving on to multilayer pads.

Because it is translucent, it lets students and instructors check at a glance whether a stitch goes through the full thickness of the pad, something opaque pads make harder to assess.
