Construction

The upper and lower gastrointestinal tracts are patent to real tubes, and the fluid circuit allows the return and the tolerance to be checked.

Teaching use

It serves for measuring and inserting the nasogastric tube and checking its position, giving enteral feeds and practising rectal tube insertion and enemas, as well as recording tolerance, fluid balance and bowel movements.
