Anatomy

Represent of adult male thorax with arms raise
Clavicle, ribs, manubriosternal joint, mammilla, pleural cavity, chest wall

It is the site to surgically insert chest tubes to treat pleural effusion by draining fluids from the pleural space. Fluid color, volume, and viscosity can be controlled by the instructor.

Reservoirs can be filled with fluid or simulated blood to represent pleural effusion
Anatomically accurate representation of an adult male torso with raised arms
A “pop” is felt as the needle enters the thoracic cavity
Affordable replaceable skin pad.
Combined use of the standard Pads and the chest reservoirs allows for the simulation of pleural effusion.
