What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The Squeekums rat manikin allows students, laboratory technicians and animal carers to learn to handle laboratory rodents confidently and safely. The tail of this model can be detached and disposed of conveniently, and it also allows intravenous access via the tail vein. The small, replaceable ears make it possible to learn ear-marking procedures. The model is fully articulated and highly realistic: the head, the paws and the limbs move naturally.
Squeekums comes with its own protective case, IV accessories, artificial blood and instructions.
