Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

Anatomically correct pelvic model, with full-term newborn and placenta, so that your students can practise different techniques realistically and learn the emergency delivery procedure. It includes disposable umbilical cords with clamps, an easy-to-fit replacement vulva, powder for preparing simulated blood, a modular pregnant abdomen with a permanently installed fetus for practising Leopold’s manoeuvres and determining fetal lie by palpating the skull and the kneecaps, and a transparent abdominal cover for viewing the position. The realistic pelvic cavity has marked pelvic landmarks, a spine set in its place, an angled birth canal, ilium, ischium, sacrum, sacrospinous ligaments and greater sciatic notch. The fetus included is the realistic size of a newborn, with fontanelles and cranial sutures. A soft carry bag is included.
