Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This injection model is designed so that future doctors and auxiliary healthcare staff can practise intravenous injection. The model is made of soft synthetic material, with an interchangeable skin and an interchangeable puncture area at the elbow, in which the median vein of the elbow (median cubital vein) is represented by a tube. The vein is visible under the skin and is also easy to palpate. The tension of the skin and the behaviour of the compressed vein are imitated quite faithfully. The model stands out for the possibility of compressing the vein realistically and of simulating a rolling vein by applying lubricant. Tested in the demanding daily use of the German army. All the individual components are sold separately.
