Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The manikin reproduces anatomical landmarks — the ribcage, xiphoid process and suprasternal notch — that the student must identify to decide where to place their hands and how much force to apply. It is made of durable vinyl that gives a realistic tactile feel.
When the manoeuvre is performed with the correct force and hand placement, the manikin expels the foreign body lodged in the airway, giving the student immediate visual confirmation that the technique worked.
