Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
This model, made up of three prostate sections together with the rectum and urinary bladder, is a useful tool for studying the most common prostate pathologies. The first section shows the internal and external structures of a normal prostate.
The second represents benign prostatic hyperplasia, with the variable fibromuscular and epithelial predominance characteristic of this condition. The third section shows prostatic adenocarcinoma.
