Description
What this equipment is and what it's designed for.
The trainer reproduces an infant’s internal airway anatomy: mouth, tongue, oropharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea and oesophagus. The lungs are separate, allowing auscultation, and an inflatable stomach bladder signals accidental oesophageal insufflation during ventilation.
Mounted on a stand, the model sits at a stable working height for repeated practice of orotracheal intubation and suctioning technique, without needing to hold the head by hand.
The unit can be attached to the Basic Infant CRiSis manikin for use in broader emergency simulation scenarios.
