Description

What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

This sheet reproduces small infected wounds, cysts and abscesses on self-adhesive silicone pieces. It is useful in primary care, emergency and nursing training for recognising localised skin infections and deciding on their management.

The wounds are self-adhesive: they are peeled off the plastic sheet, applied directly to the skin of the standardised patient or to the manikin and removed without leaving residue. They are reusable and washable, and can be finished with blood, FX make-up, dirt or soot to suit the scenario.
