What this equipment is and what it's designed for.

The full torso model is ideal for learning the techniques associated with echocardiography and ultrasound-guided pericardiocentesis. Recognise cardiac and other anatomical structures, pulmonary and rib artifacts, as well as needle and catheter guidance to the pericardial space.

Learn to use the controls of the ultrasound system and the appropriate position and pressure required for transthoracic imaging.
