The Advanced Life Support Simulator with OMNI2 is a simulator suitable for nursing and advanced life support.

It combines nursing care and ALS functions on a single manikin for comprehensive simulation-based training. Participants can practice and develop a variety of nursing skills, including airway management, ventilation, tracheostomy care, CPR and bladder catheterisation skills.

CHARACTERISTICS

GENERAL:

  • Smooth, realistic facial skin.
  • Articulated elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. Folds at the waist
  • Amputation wrist
  • Includes carrying bag

PATIENT CARE:

  • Eyes can be opened or closed.
  • Normal pupil states, miosis (constricted) and mydriasis (puffy). Independent left/right pupil states simulate consensual and non-consensual response.
  • Allows NG/OG probe placement.
  • Interchangeable genitalia for male and female bladder catheterisation
  • Enema administration
  • Removable internal tanks

AIRWAY MANAGEMENT:

  • Anatomically accurate airway.
  • Oral and nasal endotracheal intubation.

CIRCULATORY:

  • Bilateral carotid and right radial pulse generated with pressure bulb.
  • Two decubitus ulcers representing different stages of ulceration.
  • Intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous injection techniques.
  • Bilateral IM sites in deltoids and quadriceps
  • Intramuscular injection site in the buttock

GYNECOLOGICAL:

  • Cytology exercises and vaginal douching with vagina and cervix.
  • Interchangeable male and female breasts.
  • Train and develop breast examination and palpation skills with seven interchangeable breasts.
  • The left female breast contains malignancy for examination practice.
