- The simulated bone structure in the torso represents:
- Upper end of the femur, or greater trochanter.
- Posterosuperior and anterosuperior iliac spines
- Sacrum
- The bone structure provides palpable anatomical landmarks to help students identify appropriate injection sites.
- A section of the upper and outer quadrant of the left gluteal area is cut so that trainees can visualise the underlying structures
- The gluteus medius and gluteus maximus muscles, sciatic nerve and vascular structures are clearly shown
- Dimensions: 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm
