CHARACTERISTICS

GENERAL:

  • Made of sturdy beige fabric to represent a beige skin tone foetus.
    • Delivery model kits are also available with foetal models depicting brown or dark brown skin tones.
    • The included fabric foetal model can demonstrate any presentation or position.
  • The plastic head of the foetal model has palpable anterior and posterior fontanelles.
  • A standard pelvis model that can accommodate the fetal model head.
  • A fabric perineal model, which is attached to the pelvis with elastic straps and is perfect for demonstrating perineal stretching, possible episiotomy and exit of the foetal head.
  • A placenta/cord/amnion/chorion model, which allows the fetal model to be shown inside a simulated amniotic sac and features a snap-on umbilical cord that can be attached to the simulated navel of the fetal model, a handy cord to close the sac, and an accurate two-colour representation of the amniotic and chorionic membranes.
