• The visual feedback from the CPR rate monitor gives students a true sense of delivering 100-120 compressions per minute.
• Lights continuously indicate rate progression, confirming that compressions are within the 100-120 cpm range recommended by industry guidelines.
• The yellow light will flash if the upper limit of 120 cpm is exceeded, warning students to slow down.
• Instructors can monitor multiple students quickly and easily.
• In addition to the visual CPR rate monitor, students will also hear a clicking sound when the chest is pushed to the appropriate depth of 5 to 6 centimetres, allowing them to experience the actual force required to deliver chest compressions in real life.
• The CPR rate monitor can be purchased separately to upgrade any professional, unsupervised PRESTAN manikin.
