Nasogastric intubation horse simulator

PRODUCT NUMBER 3790

The Equine Nasogastric Intubation Simulator is an anatomically correct teaching aid for veterinary students to learn how to insert nasogastric tubes through the oesophagus to relieve colic problems, administer drugs or provide nutrition to the horse when it is not eating.

The Holsim Equine Nasogastric Model can be used in the classroom to facilitate teaching. This teaching aid can also be used to teach how to insert tubes into the trachea for respiratory problems. Nasogastric intubation is an essential and possibly life-saving procedure that is routinely performed in cases of equine colic to decompress the stomach and provide therapy.
