El S.M.A.S.H. Advanced Patient IV Training Arm fue presentado por primera vez en 1986 para entrenar, enseñar y practicar la técnica. La última mejora de este estándar de “clase mundial” ofrece realismo en un diseño elegante.
Una microbomba montada dentro del hombro del simulador genera pulsos arteriales generados automáticamente en los accesos radial y braquial y controla el flujo sanguíneo arterial, lo que permite una frecuencia cardíaca y una fuerza del pulso variables.
